Express your creative ideas and personal themes through the freedom of layered and luscious acrylic paint. Relax, experiment and play, allowing your hands, your body and your brushes to reveal unexpected discoveries within the paint. Enjoy explorations on paper and canvas with an emphasis on thick and thin paint, rhythmic compositions, glazing for luminosity, and mark making. Each week Lin will give a brief demonstration and provide an outline of the techniques to be explored. Always included, composition fundamentals, individual and group critiques, art materials information, matting and framing processes, and color mixing. Materials list available at SCC front desk upon registration.
